After more than a decade of silence, Chilean doom/death metal pioneers Mar de Grises are set to reunite for a special series of exclusive performances in their homeland. Known for their evocative and deeply melancholic compositions that blend progressive and melodic elements, Mar de Grises left an indelible mark on the extreme metal scene before disbanding in 2013. Now, twelve years later, they return to the stage for a four-date tour across Chile, giving longtime fans and new listeners a rare chance to experience their music live once again.

A Legacy of Innovation and Emotion

Formed at the turn of the millennium, Mar de Grises quickly established themselves as one of South America’s most unique metal acts. Their debut album, The Tatterdemalion Express, released through Finland’s Firebox Records, set the tone for their atmospheric and emotionally charged approach to doom metal. Later, the band signed with Season of Mist, bringing their music to European audiences through extensive touring and further expanding their influence.

Critically acclaimed for their ability to craft immersive sonic landscapes, their work has been described as "an utterly unpredictable exploration of musical identity" (Chronicles of Chaos) and "an evocative experience that takes the listener through a floating world of beauty and sadness" (Last Rites).

  • March 29 – Puerto Montt, Barra Bass
