Defiant Doer Dave Wade Releases Smooth Smoker “DUB1”

Dave Wade, AKA Pimp Nickel, Lemonade and Hand Grenade, has been performing live bass for decades now.

Despite hitting big and opening up for world renowned acts, he’s managed to create rifts with legendary musicians such as Rita Marley and Judy Mowatt, who have expressed their displeasure with him. He’s been fired by Peter Cetera and Alice Cooper’s songwriter, Reggie Vincent. Has that deterred him from carrying on? No way.

Wade is as optimistic as he is fearless. As he once said, “Fear nothing; there’s nothing running around down here but regular humans just like you.”

While there is always the concern and uneasiness of possible entitlements of the revered and famous, there’s usually several sides to the story. Regardless, Wade pushes on and won’t let anyone keep him from living the life he loves.
