Bloodcrown Unleashes "Sound Of Flesh And Bone"

Where metal intensity reigns supreme, newcomers Bloodcrown have emerged with their debut album "Sound Of Flesh And Bone," a testament to the genre's enduring ability to channel bitterness and strain through a blistering soundscape.

Born from casual jam sessions among friends, Bloodcrown evolved into a formidable force in the metal scene. The debut is a dark journey through the human psyche, tackling weighty themes like mental illness, societal critique, and spiritual warfare.

The new album draws its inspiration from titans like The Haunted, Pantera, At The Gates, and Entombed. Bloodcrown comes to us from Sweden’s underground metal scene, teaming up with Scorched Noise Productions for the recording of their first LP.

Tell us how you guys came together and how you started Bloodcrown.

So first of all we have known each other for a long long time and we have played together in other bands throughout the years. Barry (vocals) is a tattoo artist and both Johan and I (Rick) have gotten the most of our ink by him. So we’ve talked about starting something together for a while but we had other obligations—it took a while until it was the right time to get together and write music. In April 2022 we got together and we recorded our first song, and after that Bloodcrown was born.

How important has working with Gruesome Records been for you so far?

Well, very important of course, and it feels like a great fit for us in getting our music out there. As hard as it is to kind of breach through the noise in the scene today, especially as a brand new band, having a label that backs us and helps reach as many fans as possible is great!

How does it feel to be getting your first album out this month? Are you ready?

It feels kind of surreal to be honest,  it’s been something that started as a fun idea many years back that now has become this final product that we are extremely proud of and very excited to share with all of you guys!

We are more than ready…LETS GO

Bloodcrown is a promising new voice in metal.  "Sound Of Flesh And Bone'' will not be shying away from the depths of personal demons and society's failings. Lyrics paint a picture of a world governed by unseen, malevolent forces, and the rhythm is a relentless backbone driving the energy. The new album is available for pre-order and will be released on July 26th through Gruesome Records.
