Attempt To Somebody’s Life, post-grunge alternative metal group, releases its latest EP Bridges/Latencies on the 12th of April.

They’ve been banking sounds and melodic appendages for over two decades, and are now sewing them together to express the rage of love and emotion. Their signature sound is a blend of low tones, broken voices and thick, ambient guitars.

ATSL is more akin to the softer side of metal, with a morose demeanor behind it. If you adore your cynical view of the world and want to secretly cry in your Tarantula Azul, you’ll love this EP.

Phony Oxygen stands out as the highlight of the EP, the sound calling up impressions of Deftones and Staind.

So turn down the lights, melt down some sour patch kids and start painting the walls black. Attempt To Somebody’s Life is Ruth Maddison, Edoardo Battistini, Leonardo Santoni,  and Jep Munk.
